Knaebe's Mmmunchy Krunchy is a small cozy Mom & Pop apple farm and cider mill nestled in the hills just west of Rogers City, in beautiful Northeastern Lower Michigan.
We have 13 acres and 30 varieties of dwarf & semi-dwarf apple trees. Our eclectic old barn is stuffed with crates of fresh apples (We picks 'em, You bags 'em), fresh unpasteurized cider, honey, local maple syrup, our own spicy apple butter, and a large selection of jams n' jellies and other Michigan and Midwest goodies.
"Ma's Kitchen" has "from scratch" apple pies, homemade apple crisp, donuts, cookies (try the soft chewy molasses cookies or our Almost Famous Upside Down Sticky Pumpkin Pecan Muffins with Cream Cheese Stuffing!) and whatever else the grannies decide to bake up that day. Yummers!
We will have a special freezer this year, stuffed with your choice of our homemade unbaked or pre-baked apple pies that you can serve anytime you want! Just wear one of those cute aprons you found in the General Store, swipe your face with some flour, and nobody has to know you didn’t slave over a hot stove all day!
Goodie Lovers Alert!
We will be making our iced donut varieties only until 4:30 PM thru Sept and Oct and until 5:00 PM in November.
If you will be arriving in the later part of the day, or you want a BUNCH of our yummy donuts and baked goodies-it's good to call ahead and the Grannies will have them ready for you!
We only have "Bob" our trusty donut robot, and he can only turn out so many tasty morsels at a time-even though he starts before 5am. (Good thing he doesn't have feet like the rest of us-yow!)
We make pies while you are sleeping, and we usually have our Yummy Homemade Apple Pies frozen (baked and un-baked) in the Cute Little Red Freezer in the Big Barn. Unless we sell out! Gasp! So if you want to eat it right away, ordering your pie ahead is the way to go!

Send Dad & the kids outside (with their sticky delicious caramel apples) to visit our small but obnoxious animal farm or play in the kid yard.

why we are not a "U-Pick" farm)
Because Northeast Michigan is not exactly the fruit belt, (heck,
we're not even the fruit buckle!) our little trees are pretty spindly.
We've been told by a MSU Horticulture "hot-shot" that it's even
too cold to grow apples up here! (Hmm, is that why they
taste so gooder?)
So for the health & happiness of our orchard, Pa's mental health and the safety of your family... "Please do not pick the apples or climb the trees".
We're happy to provide you with plenty of fresh-picked and washed samples to Mmmunch on in the 'ol barn.
