Visit Our Haute Dog Stand!
We serve Northern Michigan’s “Wurst”!!! (get it? huh? yuk, yuk, yuk!) Locally made dogs, polish sausages, brats - all with our home-made touch! Different days - different “dogs”! That Chef Butch, what will he do next??! (You’ll find us on the north side of the apple barn.)
Note: The Haute Dog Stand is weekends only, except in icky weather! Yeah, yeah, we know, we're wusses!
Tacky Stuff You Need to Know: You know that green stuff your mom used to have in her purse? (no, not lint and recycled Kleenexes) It was called “money,” moo-lah, lettuce- anyway, it bought stuff before the birth of “Plastic”. Bring some; you need it. Uncle Dale and Gordie and the Hayride Crew have their own little business, and their horses say “neigh!” to credit cards! Rides are $3.00 each... and there are small charges for the Barrel Train and MacinSquasher. Yes, we do credit/debit cards in the barn, but mostly we do fun! not banking. Hey, (Hay?) thanks for listening!

We do school tours Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from mid-Sept thru mid-Oct.
Tour cost $3.50 per person (minimum charge $35.00) Cost may be a tad higher
for adult groups.
All tours must be scheduled in advance. Call (989)734-2567 as soon as possible to book your tour as weather becomes a factor in late October.
All activities are out-of-doors.
Tours include:
- A walk thru the orchard to learn how we grow apples
- A wagon ride to pick one apple per child
- Teaching in the tent ("What to do with all those apples")
- A glass of fresh cider & a donut
- A visit with the animals
- A small gift to take home
Yes, we can do "Senior" tours too! Senior
tours are $4.00 per person. (grown-ups ask harder questions
and we like to spend more time with you - also, seniors generally do not race
around the orchard in seconds flat!)
We regret that the hay wagon is not wheelcharir accessible at this time, but
the rest of the tour is available to our guests on wheels.
Call
us, we'll be glad to work with your group.
