Frozen Pie Baking Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
     

  2. Unwrap pie; if there are no slits in top of pie, stick a paring knife in the crust about 4 times around pie, and put on a cookie sheet.
     

  3. Put on second lowest rack of oven, and bake pie for 30 min. Check to see if the crust is getting too dark; if so, lay a sheet of foil lightly over top of pie to cover crust.
     

  4. Lower temp to 400 degrees and bake another 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender in the middle when you test with a pairing knife.
     

  5. Cool pie on a rack until just warm, cut a nice slab and plop a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it. Quickly powder your face with flour and dab your brow with water, so it looks like you’ve been slaving over a hot stove all day, and serve!
