In addition to the fun we offer every weekend, we also offer field trips for school groups and other organizations!
Field trips are provided on Thursdays and Fridays through mid-October. Tours cost $4 cash per participant, including adult chaperones (there is a small processing fee for checks and credit cards).
If you are a "first timer" to Knaebe's and are looking to visit the farm with your family, we suggest that you choose a beautiful Saturday or Sunday and do a self-guided tour of the farm. We offer horse-drawn carriage rides ($4/person), pony rides for the kids ($4/ride) and we have delicious wood fired pizza (and HARD CIDER), so you can stay all day! We also have farm animals to visit and an eclectic barn with interesting decor and fun things to purchase from jams and jellies to cookie cutters and funny signs! Don't forget our delicious bakery with the most delicious donuts ever and tons of other baked goodies. Oh yeah, and apples and cider!!
If you're with a school group or organization and are interested in scheduling a field trip, here is some basic information to help you get started. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Field Trip Information
Field trips can be scheduled on Thursdays & Fridays through mid-October. All field trips must be scheduled in advance. Go to our "Book a Field Trip" page to submit an inquiry or request a field trip date. Contact us as soon as possible to ensure your preferred date fits into the schedule...we have a short season and, since all activities are outdoor, weather (gulp...) becomes a factor in late October.
Field Trips are $4.00 cash per participant, including adult chaperones
(there is a small processing fee for checks and credit card payments)
with a minimum charge of $40.00.
Field Trips include:
A walk thru the orchard to learn how we grow apples
A tractor-pulled wagon ride to pick one apple per participant
Fun and Educational time with our tour guide
A glass of fresh cider & a donut
A visit with the animals and enjoy the playground and corn maze
Yes, we can do "Senior" tours too! We regret that the hay wagon is not wheelchair accessible at this time, but the rest of the tour is available to our guests on wheels. Contact us, we'll be glad to work with your group.
